In every partnership, the ability to REFERENCE the success of the partnership is important. This is done by mutually agreeing evaluation criteria and "exit strategies". The success of a partnership can be measured through benchmarks and targets, which should be in place at the commencement of the partnership. The measures become the legacy of the partnership and provide a way to describe its success.
